Olivia Jones - HEAVY IS THE HEAD - Book Launch

Join us for a special book launch event for Newport native Olivia Jones, whose debut memoir will be released on November 6th at Charter Books.

This event is free and open to all. We are currently requiring masks of all staff and customers.

When Olivia became a mother at the age of 16, not only did she have to grow up fast, but being a young mother also taught her many invaluable lessons; lessons which she is most determined to share with others. While encouraging young women all over the world to love and respect themselves, she strives to inspire them to find strength and potential in what other people may call ‘mistakes’. Jones suggests, “…the process has to start with them accepting their decisions and taking full responsibility for them.”

This message is among the many strong and powerful messages Olivia seeks to pass across through her debut memoir, HEAVY IS THE HEAD. The take home is clear. You are a Queen, and royalty comes with responsibility.
