What's it all about?
As lifelong readers, we remember vividly the picture books of our childhood and the grownups who read them to us time and time again. The goal of the Charter Kids Book Box is to deliver that same joy to a new generation and to help kids and parents build a magnificent young library - one book at a time.
What's included with my subscription?
Every 4-6 weeks we will ship to you (or reserve at the store) one children's picture book. The books will be appropriate for kids aged 0-6. The selections will be first editions signed by the author and/or illustrator. Knowing that these books will be read out loud dozens and dozens of times, we select quality titles an emphasis on dynamic story and unique illustration. Every book will be gift-wrapped and will frequently include a special gift and letter to parents and kids.
Who picks out the books?
Our dedicated staff - including parents of young children and former educators - works with authors and publishers to acquire signed books with enduring quality. You can view a list of past selections here >.
How does it work?
All it costs is the price of the book (plus shipping, if applicable), which is usually between $17-$20. If you enroll below, be sure to save your credit card information to your account so that subscription shipments will be sent. If you opt not to save your credit card information, you will risk a delay in shipment since we'll need to contact you to obtain payment information. Club subscription is indefinite, so if you decide to take a break or leave the club, just call us and let us know.
